PC gameplay in AV1 is buttery smooth, even on my mid-range rig. The codec keeps image quality sharp during fast panning shots in Cyberpunk 2077, with far less compression artifacts than H.264. It's a solid upgrade for streaming or recording, though encoding can be heavy on the CPU.
