조사 결과 아르바이트생 중 28.6%가 비교적 짧은 기간 근무하는 초장기 아르바이트를 선호한다고 답했다. 세부적으로 살펴보면 1주일 미만 근무를 선호한다는 답변은 17.6%였고, 원하는 기간 하루만 근무하는 △하루 아르바이트를 선호한다는 답변은 11.6%였다.

조사결과 '원하는 기간과 요일에 일을 하기 위해서' 초장기알바생를 선호한다는 답변이 복수선택 응답률 66.6%로 가장 높았다. 이어 '학교나 학원, 직장 등 본업과 병행하기 위해서' 초단기알바생를 선호한다는 답변도 59.5%로 절반이상으로 많았다.
